day 10 of quarantine! i'm still doing good, super into my hero academia atm and video chatting with friends. i still maintain type racing SUPREMACY over everyone.

as a start of the new week i decided i wanted to revive some of my old projects that i kinda just had rotting around, and the first thing I thought of was my first ever video project during my ACAM minor course. the challenge at the time was to create a movie without audio. I wasn't sure how to do that so I kinda just did my own thing and decided to just to shoot some shots about my childhood friends growing up in Champlain Heights. Champlain heights was an extremely special neighbourhood in e. van during the 90s and 2000s. it's kinda funny that whenever i tell ppl i grew up there, their immediate reaction is either "damn thats fuckin hood" (????) or "wow so lucky" lmao. I'll write about it some other time.

I still have all the audio and b roll shots so I want to eventually put them together again. I featured Travis, Tyson, Sephia, and Alyssa, all whom I spent my younger years with and all have really interesting stories to tell from growing up in the neighbourhood. For now, here's just a few raw stills to show off some of the work I did.
